ABAQUS/Explicit is a transient dynamics program that serves advancednonlinear structural analysis needs. ABAQUS/Explicit has the standardinterface familiar to ABAQUS users as highly optimized for computationalperformance. ABAQUS is aimed at production analysis needs, so that useraspects such as ease of use, reliability, flexibility, and deficiencyreceive great attention.ABAQUS/Explicit has well-developed element and material libraries.Element formulations include beams, shells, and continuum elements forfinite rotation, finite strain calculations.
